Came here for lunch and the food was quite good and very interesting. It’s not your usual Thai affair and has some street food flavours. The crispy pork is great though the Tom Yum seafood pit was only average. Picture looks good and I think everyone who is first trying will want to order but probably because the seafood is not fresh enough it sort of misses. Otherwise excellent all around and will return to try other dishes.

Yooo found my new fav Thai restaurant!! We ordered the large seafood ramen soup (Tom Yum style: salty & sour, packed with meat), Pad Thai, and chicken skewers. The skewers with curry sauce were amazingggg we finished them in no time especially the chicken wasn’t dry at all. I also tried the soft spring rolls (fresh shrimp, lettuce, carrots), and my favorite dish was the minced pork rice: perfectly balanced flavors and not overly salty. For dessert, the mango sticky rice was a must-try—each color of rice had its own subtle flavor, which made it extra special. Last their Thai milk tea was also flavorful, though a little too sweet for me but perfect if you have a sweet tooth!! The seating area is quite spacious. Even though we waited about 10 minutes, it was worth it. Overall, highly recommend this spot, and I’ll definitely be back!

Amazing authentic Thai restaurant with flavourful dishes, lovely plating, beautiful interior design and great service all around! I didn't catch my server's name but the gentleman with glasses was super attentive and kind. All the dishes were delightful. They also have a non-alcoholic menu. The only downfall is the slippery floors right by the entrance, be very careful. Overall lovely experience, will definitely return to try the items they were out of such as the crispy pork.

We came for an early dinner and had a great experience. The staff were friendly and got us seated right away, though I recommend a reservation if you are coming later. The Pad See Ew was the clear favourite at our table, so good. The crispy pork with Chinese broccoli was tasty and the fish cakes were fine. The Massaman curry is a must try too, rich and full of flavour an good choice if you want to choose something other than Green Curry. We finished with the warm Bua Loy dessert, a nice coconut treat to end the meal. I can’t wait to try some of their other dishes next time. What are your favourite dishes to order at Susu Siam?

We visited SuSu Siam during their soft opening with a group of 4 and had a great experience overall! We tried one of their signature dishes, Mama Tom Yum, which was flavorful and comforting. The portion looks big in the photos, but in reality, it’s best for 2-3 people to share. The pineapple fried rice had a good portion size, though I wish it had more pineapple pieces. The crispy pork with Chinese broccoli was excellent – it came with rice, the veggies were super fresh, and the pork was perfectly crispy. For dessert, we had mango sticky rice, which came with 4 different colors of sticky rice. The server explained each flavor, but with the sweetness of the mango, you couldn’t really tell the difference – still, it was absolutely delicious and a must-try! The servers were very nice and friendly, which made the experience even better. Overall, a lovely spot for Thai food, and we’re excited to come back once they fully open!

Had lunch at Susu Siam in Scarborough today, and it was such a pleasant surprise. The restaurant has a stylish, cozy vibe — elegant décor, great atmosphere, attentive staff, and perfectly timed service. Every dish showed balance and detail, with clean, layered flavors that weren’t greasy at all. Main Dishes Panang Curry (Mild) Beautifully aromatic coconut curry — rich, smooth, and balanced. The peanut notes were fragrant but not overpowering, while the kaffir lime leaves added a refreshing citrus lift. The long beans stayed crisp, and the mild spice still carried depth and warmth. Thick yet not heavy, this curry was perfectly done — especially with rice. Mama Tom Yum (Mild) A luxurious take on the classic Thai “mama noodles,” loaded with shrimp, squid, crab, mussels, and crispy pork. The raw egg yolk on top melts into the broth, giving it a silky, savory texture. The soup is bright and tangy with lemongrass, galangal, and lime leaf aroma — mild in heat but bursting with flavor. Comforting and addictive till the last spoon. Pla Krapong Tod Nam Pla (Fried Sea Bass with Fish Sauce) Crispy on the outside, tender inside. The frying temperature was spot on — no oiliness at all. The fish sauce glaze was savory with a hint of sweetness, and the fried garlic and herbs tied everything together. A clean, golden perfection of “crispy yet moist.” Crispy Tom Yum Wontons Thin, crunchy wonton skins filled with moist, tangy-spicy Tom Yum filling. The aroma hits right when you bite in — balanced acidity, a gentle chili kick, and a hint of lime leaf fragrance at the end. Still crispy even after a while — a perfect appetizer. Drinks Susu Sunset (Red Gin × Elderflower × Lime × Butterfly Pea × Prosecco) A stunning, picture-perfect cocktail. The butterfly pea gives it a gorgeous blue-to-purple-pink gradient. Light floral sweetness upfront, followed by refreshing lime acidity and a crisp finish from the Prosecco bubbles. Refreshing, elegant, and easy to drink — pairs well with curry or fried dishes. Thai Iced Coffee Strong roast with chocolate and caramel undertones. The milkiness is rich but balanced, keeping the coffee’s depth intact. Smooth and slightly toasty, making it a lovely way to end the meal. Dessert Coconut Ice Cream Trio Beautifully plated — three perfect scoops of coconut ice cream, smooth and creamy without being overly sweet. Topped with toasted coconut flakes, shredded coconut, and crushed nuts for texture and aroma. Finished with fresh strawberries, mango cubes, and a mint leaf for a refreshing, tropical balance. Light, aromatic, and the perfect finale. Overall Susu Siam represents modern Thai dining done right — keeping the heart of traditional spices but refining the presentation and flavors. The Panang Curry and Fried Sea Bass were clear highlights, both technically precise and flavorful. If you like more heat, I’d recommend asking for extra spice on the Mama Tom Yum next time — it’d make the lemongrass and galangal pop even more. A restaurant with real heart and detail — not just for photos, but for flavor. Can’t wait to go back and try their other desserts like mango sticky rice and bua loy coconut dumplings next time!

I love Thai cuisine, so can’t miss trying this place. Tiktok leads me to Su su Siam. Surprisingly, the restaurant is big, nice decor and the ambiance is great. Our server was very attentive and very welcoming. We ordered few dishes as we are planning go somewhere for coffee after. I must say the taste is spot on, loved everything that we ordered, my favourite is the pad thai and pineapple fried rice and of course the Mango sticky rice, delicious! Overall dining experience is ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Only reason I gave it a 4 star is because we waited quite a bit, the place was packed when we got in at 6 pm. Parking is a bit of hassle, there’s a big grocery store and a lot of restaurants in the area.
